With the ongoing global pandemic of Covid19, many are concerned with the state of the global economy. As businesses across all industries have suffered, many are rightly wondering what they can do to stay afloat during this global crisis. While UAE officials are leading the way forward politically, socially and economically, individuals, especially within the fields of architecture, construction and engineering will be needed now more than ever as spaces will likely need to be (re-)designed to meet the needs of our new normal. In the meantime, however, as Croquis expands its work in sectors such as commercial and office, we will continue pushing forward our ongoing work in the UAE’s residential market, which is currently seeing an upswing.
